FAQ

Terms and Conditions
Chiswick Eyalashes is open by appointment only. To schedule your appointment, please send us an email or book online.
We do not accept any non-scheduled appointments.

Patch Test Requirements
All new clients are required to come for a patch test/skin sensitivity test. Patch tests must be done at least 48 hours before the appointment.

Please bear in mind that, on rare occasions, the results may not always be accurate and an allergic reaction may still occur, even if you have not had a reaction previously, you can become allergic over time. We advise you to book your treatment a few days before an important event, in case of an allergic reaction.

If, after your appointment, you experience any soreness, swelling, itchiness or redness in the eye area, please get in touch with us for advice and also refer to your GP immediately. You should never ignore any symptoms of an allergic reaction, as it may lead to serious health issues if left untreated.

Cancellation / Rescheduling
Please give us at least 24 – 48 hours’ notice for changes in your appointment or cancellation. Rescheduling, cancelling or missing your appointment under 24 hours before, will result in a cancellation charge of 50% of the full service price. The fee must be paid before you book your next appointment.

Arrivals
Please arrive at your appointment on time. If you are early, you must wait outside. If you are late, we cannot extend your appointment time. Your eyelash technician will only be able to spend the time you are present during your appointment. In this case, you will not receive the fullest look you might have hoped for. The full payment for the time and chosen treatment will still be charged.

Required Age
You must be over 18 to have treatment performed at our salon.

Prior to Your Appointment
Please remove all eye makeup from eyelashes and eyelids before your appointment. Use a lash shampoo or an oil-free makeup remover with a lash brush or disposable applicator. Make sure you rinse off a cleansing product thoroughly. If your eyelashes need to be cleaned during your appointment, this will reduce the time available for the application of new eyelash extensions.

We also request that you remove contact lenses before any eyelash treatment. They can be placed straight back in after treatment.

Infills are recommended every 2-3 weeks. When booking infills, please ensure that you have at least 40-50% of eyelashes left. If it has been longer than 4 weeks since your last appointment, please book a full set. Even if you feel you have many lashes left, the majority will be grown out after this period and will need to be removed.

Infills can be booked by time from 1 hour to 1 hour, 75 minutes. This depends on the time it has been since your last appointment. The more time you book, the more lashes that can be applied and a fuller result.

If you have had your eyelash extensions applied at another salon, for best results, please book a removal appointment first as every lash technician’s process and style vary. Removal can be done on the same day, prior to your full set appointment. We will, however, infill work from another salon if it is of a similar high quality as ours.

During Your Appointment
Please do not open your eyes until your eyelash technician advises you to do so. If you open your eyes prematurely, without allowing the adhesive to dry, the eye might feel irritated. Symptoms include immediate redness after the treatment, dry or irritated eyes, discomfort, and/or pain. It will last for a day or two but will pass. Please trust your technician!

After Your Appointment
Please thoroughly follow aftercare advice from your eyelash technician after every treatment.
